After growing up in Bury St Edmunds, Ben lived and worked in Sheffield, Manchester and Leeds while undertaking his studies. Once complete, he moved to London and worked on predominantly residential projects, the majority of his time being with Lab Architects based in Chelsea. It was in London that Ben sat his final exams and qualified as an Architect in 2012.

In 2014, he made the move to Melbourne (Australia) being fortunate to work on high spec, contemporary, new build homes for BE Architecture. In this time, whilst also enjoying an outdoor lifestyle and exploring Oz, Ben's passion for new build projects grew. Returning to his hometown in 2017, he looked to establish a practice that would push modern design and detailing. With a number of years experience on all stages of extension and new build projects, Ben is always keen to grab the pens and start sketching.
Rachel Maude

Originally from West Yorkshire, Rachel studied and worked in Manchester and Leeds (meeting Ben in 2008). With her move to London she sought to gain experience on a range of project sectors before eventually concluding that is was private residential work that was her calling.

After gaining her Architect title in 2012, she also made the move to Melbourne (Australia) and worked on a wide range of hospitality and residential projects. Her time with Jackson Clements Burrows Architects exposed her to an attention to detail that continues throughout all her work. Rachel has significant experience on technical documentation and also oversees the office and its day to day running.
